HOCKEY SCHOOL INSTRUCTORS



Don Murdoch

Former NHL player with the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers. Don was known for his goal scoring ability, and recorded 5 goals in one game, for a rookie record. Scored over 100 goals during his professional career in the NHL. He has since held Director for Scouting for Tampa Bay Lightning, and coached professionally in the East Coast Hockey League.

 

Colin Sinclair

Playing Experience:                                                                                    

Former Kootenay Ice player who captured two league titles in 2000 and 2002. Won a Memorial Cup in 2002 where he was named to the All-star team. 

Played four years at the University of New Brunswick where he captured a National CIS title and one silver medal.  Captained Team Canada to a World University Gold Medal in Torino, Italy and is a winner of the Dr. Randy Gregg Scholastic Award. 

Played two seasons in the ECHL and is currently playing professional hockey over in the Norwegian Elite League for the Lorenskog Bulldogs.  

Instructor Experience:

Coached and Instructed at various hockey schools over the past 14 years including the Niedermayer Hockey School, Hockey in the Rockies, Brooks Hockey School and currently is running hockey schools in Oslo, Norway. 

Tim Sanche

Playing experience:

"AA" Squirt through Midget (Kimberley), KIJHL (Cranbrook), BCJHL (Vernon), WHL (Medicine Hat), IHL.NAHL, Minor Pro (Flint,Syracuse). Still playing competitive hockey!

Coaching Experience (32 Years):

Level 4 USA Hockey, "AA" PeeWee, Bantam, Midget U16. Phoenix, AZ Total of 25 years.

Alpine Hockey School (Kimberley), Ellett-Charron HS (Salt Lake City), Dave Maloney HS (New York), John Davidson HS (Invermere), Saguaro HS (Phoenix), Lakeland Hockey School (Penticton), Randy Exelby Goalie School (Phoenix), Phoenix Coyotes Hockey School (Phoenix), Ultra Skills Hockey (Ottawa), Hockey in the Rockies (Invermere)

Coaching Philosophy.... as a coach my purpose is to provide players with the opportunity to develop and improve their skills by applying the appropriate progressions necessary to take them to the next level. The great game of hockey should be an enjoyable experience and played with passion, determination and discipline. But most of all it should be FUN!!!
